Angels Game

For Family Home Evening last night, we took the boys to their 1st Baseball Game and saw the Anaheim Angels play the New York Yankees. Me and Dave couldn't believe it had been over 10 yrs since we'd both been to a baseball game (for me it was a SF Giants game and for Dave an LA Dodgers game). We were all really excited to go!!!

It was so neat to watch the boys take in the magic of the all-American experience of going to a baseball game. Dylan was SO cute when we were walking up to the stadium and when he got his first look at the field once we were inside.










For Dylan, highlights included getting an Angels hat and baseball , eating a hot dog, watching the fireworks go off for each home run scored by the Angels and groovin' to the music at the game...

For Connor, highlights included watching the big, big TV screen behind us and gettin' his groove on to the music as well...

For me and Dave, we enjoyed hangin' and being silly with the boys...

It was a fun, high-scoring game and a fight even broke out on the field (we thought it was cool to be at a game when a fight went down!). On a silly sidenote, there were a few, random pockets of Yankees fans in the crowd who were causing a little bit of drama throughout the game (not surprising). When this would happen a bunch of Angels fans would chant "Yankees Suck! Yankees Suck!" and Dylan started chanting along with them! Nice. We did think it was funny, though, and so did the people sitting near us. :) All the excitement finally
caught up with Connor, he crashed
during the 7th inning. :)

We had SO much fun as a family and look forward to going to some games next season. After the game we hit the only Sonic in Orange County which happens to be in Anaheim. Of course we were all lovin' it...
