The Tall Ships Festival is every September at Dana Point Harbor. We went down there this afternoon to check it out. It was breathtaking to see so many ships sailing around the harbor. Docked at the harbor were some "pirate" ships, and a pirate show was being reenacted when we got down there. The boys were scared at first of the "booms" from the cannons they fired off, but then they thought it was cool. :) After the show, we hung out at our favorite spot there for a little while. Connor was lovin' it and thought this bird that landed near him was funny. :) I love seeing the world through my children's eyes...
