Christmastime @ Disneyland

We all couldn't wait to go to Disneyland for Christmastime, and yesterday was the big day!!! Dylan wanted to start by taking the train to Mickey's house in ToonTown. Then while Dylan rode the "Go Coaster" with Dad, I hung out with Connor by the fountain and got a super cute shot of him. We then headed over to the Carousel. Near there, I got a super cute shot of Dylan trying to pull out the Sword in the Stone. It's hands-down one of my fave D-land shots of him! And they were both hilarious messin' around on Mr. Toad's crazy car! :) We scored a great spot by "It's a Small World" for the Christmas Parade, it made it easy for us to get in line after the parade was over. Of course we rode one of our fave family rides "Astro Blasters" and decided to stay for the fireworks. We got them a little Mickey Santa dated 2008 to remember our first time at Disneyland during Christmastime.

Last Game

Dylan had his last T-Ball game today! He did awesome, made some home runs and was too cute posing afterwards with the certificate he was given. It was great to see his skills improve, and most importantly for him to have so much fun and make new friends along the way.
He can't wait for the next session to start! :)

"Oh Christmas Tree"

For Family Home Evening this week, we picked out our Christmas tree. Dylan was WAY excited, he asked me every day for a week if tonight was FHE so we could get the tree. He was so cute helping Dad every step of the way. Then we decorated. Actually, let me clarify...me, Dave and Dylan decorated, while Connor kept slyly pulling ornaments off of the tree. Little rascal. :) We had a great time. Ahhhh, nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree...
Oh Christmas Tree
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging
Your boughs are green, in sommers glow and do not fade in winters snow
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging
Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree

Thanksgiving

We were in Las Vegas with Dave's family this year for Thanksgiving. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their many boy cousins. Dave has 4 sisters and 1 brother, between all of us we've had 20 kids. And out of those 20 kids, only 5 are girls. :) It was great to get away for a couple of days, relax and play at "Grandma & Grandpa's house". :)

Outside

Me and the boys spent the morning outside yesterday.
Dylan had a T-Ball game and then we headed over to one of our favorite parks.

Let's Go Play!!!

Since it was the weekend before Thanksgiving and Dave wasn't busy with work (yay!), we decided to go play at D-land on Friday! The first ride we HAD to go on was the new 4-D "Toy Story Mania!" ride at California Adventure Park. The boys were funny with their 3-D glasses and the ride was a blast! :) The boys also ventured into "A Bug's Land", they both loved the water area and Dylan got soaked in another water game, he was lovin' every minute. :) We also caught the Pixar Parade on our way over to Disneyland, Dylan loves seeing Lightning McQueen and Connor was too cute trying to catch the bubbles from the parade. :) The other ride we HAD to go on was "It's a Small World". It's been closed since we got our passes and it just reopened. I was particularly excited about going on it since I loved this ride when I was a kid. It was really neat to go on it now with my own kids, and watch my boys look around at everything in awe just like I did as a child. Because tonight was the first night with all of the Christmas decorations up at Disneyland, "It's a Small World" was extra special because it was all lit up with lights.
